1. Sylics phenotypes mouse models used in the EU 7th Framework Program consortium Eurospin: European Consortium on Synaptic Protein Networks in Neurological and Psychiatric Diseases. www.eurospin.mpg.de

2. Sylics executes the management and coordination of the EU 7th Framework Program consortium NeuroCypres: Neurotransmitter cys-loop receptors: structure, function and disease’.

3. Sylics trains PhD-students and executes the management and coordination of the 7th Framework Program training network BrainTrain: Integrative neuroscience school on brain function and disease.

4. Sylics executes the management and coordination of the EU 7th Framework Program consortium SynSys: Synaptic Systems – dissecting brain function in health and disease.

5. Sylics is involved in the Dutch NeuroBasic PharmaPhenomics consortium in several ways: [1] as a scientific partner by providing phenotyping and analysis for selected mouse models and pharmaca used in neurological and psychiatric diseases, [2] as operator of the 800 m2 mouse facility used for this project and [3] and as executer of the management of this project, together with the scientific coordinator, who is located in Rotterdam. The overall aim of this project is to develop drug development strategies in the field of neurology and psychiatry. www.neurobasic.nl

6. PhD-students from Sylics participate in the 7th Framework Program training network Cerebnet: Timing and plasticity in the olivo-cerebellar system.

7. Sylics supports ENC-Network, an Erasmus Mundus supported EU graduate school network. Sylics has built the website of this network pro bono.
